For the latest branding exercise, I wanted to play around with shapes and accent colours. In my previous brand designs for the activewear company and the cafe, I stuck with one accent colour and a base of neutrals. For this wellness website, I chose to craft a palette based on being outdoors and close to nature. Indeed, the colour palette was based on the main hero image used in the banner.Balboa Plus is actually one of my favourite fonts - I love the unexpected graphic block look juxtaposed with peaceful nature.
I wanted the website to show versatility, both for what can be done with the template, but also the versatility of the freelancer. The icons and images used here were deliberately ambiguous to ensure there is room for general wellbing and holistic health style content as well as yoga and dance content. Icons are sourced from Flaticon - one of my favourite resources for icons that are little bit different.
