If you’re not learning, then you’re not improving ✨

I’ve never loved the idea of calling myself an “expert” or a “master”, because the idea of having mastered something implies I have nothing new to learn. But in any skill or “expertise” (but especially one that evolves as quickly as design and tech is evolving right now), refusing to learn something new is refusing to improve.

After uni, my career started as a receptionist at a real estate and has gone in a direction I never thought possible. But it’s that open-minded and open-hearted approach to new information that has always steered me in the right direction.

And the beautiful part about that is that my biggest competition is only ever myself! As long as I’m always learning, I’m always going to be a better designer (and person) than I was last week. 🤍

(And to prove it, pictured is the latest version of my website and the very first version of it when I first started freelancing as a marketing consultant 5 years ago (so cringe, am I right)!)
